British High Commissioner Stuart Gill will host a Town Hall meeting in Gozo on February 13 for UK nationals working and living locally.

He will answer questions about the status of their rights following Brexit.

The meeting, to be held at the Grand Hotel in Mġarr, Gozo, from 6pm until 7.30pm, is free and open to all interested UK nationals.

Representatives from the Maltese government will also participate.

“Since last month’s town hall meeting with UK Nationals, we were pleased to hear the important statement by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat outlining Malta’s offer to UK Nationals living in Malta, which provides that UK Nationals can carry on living their lives broadly as they do now in any scenario," High Commissioner Gill commented.

“Next Wednesday’s meeting will help explain this offer and give further clarity to UK nationals on the status of their rights following the UK’s departure from the EU."
