Unemployment was stable in August at 974, an increase of 52 when compared to the corresponding month in 2022, according to National Statistics Office data issued on Tuesday.

Men accounted for 69.5 per cent of people registering for work.

Clerical support jobs were the most common occupations sought by the registered unemployed.
