An appeal has been issued for blood donations.An appeal has been issued for blood donations.

The National Blood Transfusion Unit has appealed for urgent donations of all types of blood but especially A Positive and O Positive.

The unit, near the former St Luke's Hospital in Guardamangia, is open till 6pm. Donors need to present their ID card.
