The Spanish national team arrived at the Malta International Airport ahead of their Euro 2020 qualifier against Malta at the National Stadium on Tuesday night.

The former world and European champions were led by coach Luis Enrique and included some world-class talent in the form of goalkeeper David De Gea, who is on the books of Manchester United, Real Madrid duo Sergio Ramos and Isco and striker Alvaro Morata.

The Spain national team are expected to hold a training session at the National Stadium on Monday evening after coach Luis Enrique will meet the media during a press conference.

Tuesday night's match between Malta and Spain, which kicks off at 8.45pm, will be played in front of a full capacity crowd after all tickets from the match were sold out.

Spain opened their Euro 2020 campaign with a 2-1 win over Norway and are currently sharing top spot with Sweden and Malta after the latter beat the Faroe Islands by the odd goal in three.

Ta' Qali is expected to be packed for Tuesday's match.
