On the Athens seafront, the abandoned Hellinikon airport quietly rots away. It has been disused for more than fifteen years. At the end of 2015, the state used it to house thousands of refugees. But they are not the only inhabitants of the place. Every day Yorgos, an impoverished retiree, goes to the airport to clean it. In exchange, the refugees give him food.
