New banners were erected across the island overnight demanding for "the whole truth" to emerge in the wake of the Daphne Caruana Galizia assassination.
The banners on a red background, which simply said: "We want the truth, the whole truth", were put up across strategic places like the top of the Santa Venera tunnels.
Ms Caruana Galizia was killed in a brutal car bomb on October 16. Three men have since been arrested and charged with her killing but campaigners have demanded that the police also go after the masterminds.
A month after the killing, banners highlighting Ms Caruana Galizia's last published words "The situation is desperate" - had appeared in Malta's streets overnight.
The Civil Society Network, which is backing the calls for change, has held protests in Valletta, Sliema and outside police headquarters.
Meanwhile, on Saturday morning, scores of people marched to the scene road where Ms Caruana Galizia was killed at Bidnija to mark the two months since the assassination. A mass in the village will also be celebrated in her memory.
