The White House has revoked the press pass for CNN's White House correspondent, Jim Acosta, after a fiery exchange with US President Donald Trump.
The White House alleged that Acosta "placed his hands" on an intern who tried to take the microphone from him.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders tweeted that the White House had suspended the pass until further notice.
And added: "We will never tolerate a reporter placing his hands on a young woman just trying to do her job."
Reuters' White House correspondent Jeff Mason was sat next to Acosta, said:
"I was at the press conference sitting next to Jim Acosta today when the incident happened when the intern came and reached for the microphone and Jim basically just held onto it and he used his arm to defend his hold on the microphone but he did not place his hands on her as the White House alleged."
