Twenty-five-year-old Charlene Farrugia, reported missing early last month, has still not been found.

Ms Farrugia was last seen wearing a black shirt, jeans and white trainers. She has brown eyes and had her hair cut to her shoulders. She is five feet, three inches tall.

The police missing person list includes almost 100 people. Among them is 34-year-old Samuel Dalli, who was reported missing at the beginning of this year.

He was last seen wearing a blue top and jeans. Mr Dalli has brown eyes and short brown hair. He's five feet, eight inches tall and of a medium build.

This year's list includes two foreigners: Fifteen-year-old Fartun Muhammed Mahmoud and 18-year-old Adam Fareh Egeh, both Somali.

According to a list published by criminologist Saviour Formosa showing that five people went missing so far in 2008, this year is the third worst over the past 38 years. The highest number was recorded four years ago and the second-highest 12 years ago with 16 and four missing people respectively.

The police are appealing to anyone with any information related to anyone reported missing to contact them confidentially on 119 or on 2122 1111.
