A Portuguese woman was seriously injured when the quadbike she was riding crashed into a wall on Thursday.

The accident happened at Trix-ix-Xlendi, Munxar at 1pm.

The quadbike was being driven by a 29-year-old man, also  Portuguese, with the 32-year-old woman riding behind him.

The man lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a wall, the police said.
