Finance Assistant

An International Energy company is seeking a Finance Assistant to handle general book keeping duties. The chosen candidate will be reporting mainly to the Accountant as well as contributing as a member of a larger team.

Job Description:

  • Handling day to day accounting duties
  • Obtaining approvals for expenditure in line with company policies
  • Posting of Invoices
  • Assisting with the preparation of payment runs
  • Reconciliation of suppliers’ statements
  • Maintaining the filing system
  • Any other accounting duties which may be required

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience
  • A minimum A level standard, or equivalent, of education in accounting
  • A working knowledge of accounting practices and principles
  • Desire to grow personally and professionally
  • Working as an individual and within a team
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
