Corrections policy

Times of Malta strives to publish factual, fair and accurate information at all times. But mistakes are inevitable, and we strive to correct errors promptly.

Complaints about errors that merit a correction note can be submitted to newsroom@timesofmalta.com, citing the article headline, URL and correction required.

When editors believe a correction is substantive, we will include a note at the bottom of the article that explains the correction and the date when the change was made.

If a correction calls the entire article’s substance into question or reveals that the article failed to meet Times of Malta’s editorial standards, we will include an editor’s note at the top of the article that explains the correction and the problems it raises.

To submit a formal right of reply to an article, please email editor@timesofmalta.com citing the article headline and URL.

Corrections to articles that appeared in print will be published in print on the editorial page within two days of the correction being submitted.
