Times of Malta is not owned by a political party or business mogul. Our editorial department is completely separate from the company’s commercial wing. Nobody can tell our editors what to publish or what not to.

Over the past years, we have exposed wrongdoing by institutions and run articles which upset some of our largest advertisers. We have held the powerful to account and given a voice to those who thought they had none.

We will not apologise for our independence. Instead, we are asking you to support it.
