Three men were yesterday arraigned separately and charged with drug possession, with one of them also charged with trafficking.

Spiridione Vella, 40, of Gzira was charged with trafficking in ecstasy and the possession of ecstasy and cannabis in circumstances denoting they were not for his personal use between March 5 and 7.

Dennis Cuschieri, 29, of Sliema was charged with the possession of ecstasy with the intent to sell it while Libyan Tarek Mahmoud Z Aboumehdi, 28, was charged with the possession of cannabis and relapsing.

Police Inspector Norbert Ciappara prosecuted.
