A Dubai-based law firm is claiming it can help wealthy individuals “jump the queue” to buy a Maltese passport.
M/Advocates of Law is advertising a “fast-track option”, which, it says, will soon be available under the controversial Individual Investor Programme.
This will bypass the stipulated three to six-month time frame to buy Maltese citizenship for €650,000, according to the firm’s website.
Sources close to the company told Times of Malta it had been advised that a new sub-scheme of the Maltese programme was already in the pipeline, allowing applicants to pay a higher fee to jump the queue.
