Transport Malta said it will be resurfacing parts of Triq Għajn Tuffieħa in Xemxija and Triq Sir Temi Zammit in Mgarr.

Works at Triq Għajn Tuffieħa will be carried out from this Sunday until Wednesday 28 October. Parts of the road will be closed between 7pm and 5am. 

Works at Triq Sir Temi Zammit will be carried out between Monday and Thursday as follows:

From Monday to Tuesday between 7pm and 6am.

From Tuesday to Wednesday between 7pm and 6.30am.

From Wednesday to Thursday between 7pm and 6.30am.

The resurfacing works will be taking place weeks before Malta hosts the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting around Golden Bay.
