Ten persons are being held in detention after being found to be living in Malta illegally.

The 10, from Benin, Nigeria, Burkina Faso and Gambia, were arrested during raids in Marsaxlokk by the police and the Detention service on Sunday.

Arrangements are being made for their repatriation, the police said.
