Having used the airport shuttle bus from Ċirkewwa to Luqa on Friday morning (August 29, 4.15 a.m.) I have to wonder what the authorities are thinking in supplying a bus that does not have a hold on the side to store the luggage.
The first couple of passengers left their luggage in the middle of the aisle blocking the way to the back and thus the rest of us had to gingerly leap over the luggage to get to a vacant seat and also had to haul our luggage further into the bus and in the process also block the only way into the back of the bus.
The concept of having a shuttle bus service is a good one and the driver was very courteous and professional but surely it has to be a vehicle that can store luggage outside the passenger area. After all, don't air travellers usually carry luggage when travelling? Why is that so hard to comprehend?
