BONELLO. On April 9, at her home in Siġġiewi, ELEONORA, née Busuttil, aged 67, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved husband, Joseph; her children, Michael and his wife Maria, and Samuel; her mother, Nikolina Busuttil; her brother, Salvinu and his wife Antoinette; her in-laws, Phyllis Muscat, Carmel Bonello, Miriam Farrugia, Victor Bonello, and their families; and other relatives and friends. Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated tomorrow, Thursday, April 11, at 2pm, at St Nicholas parish church, Siġġiewi, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request, but donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, or the Malta Community Chest Fund will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
DEDOMENICO – VICTORIA (Vikki), née Beacom, passed away peacefully at Mater Dei Hospital on April 6. She leaves to mourn her loss her beloved sons Simon, Jonathan and his wife Charlene, Vikki’s companion Paul Vassallo and his son Roderick, her Beacom nephews Patrick and Tanya, Jonathan and Glorya, and Andrew, her great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends. The funeral will take place on Friday, April 12, at St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
ELLUL. On April 7, MARIO, aged 67, owner and managing director of SYSS Company Ltd. (Grech & Ellul), passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. He will always be loved and cherished by his wife Jennifer, his children Rebecca, Petra, Yani and Kyle, their partners, grandchildren, relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Hospital, Sliema on Friday, April 12, at 9am, for the Basilica of Christ the King, Paola. A Mass to celebrate his life will be said at 10am followed by burial at Naxxar cemetery. At Mario’s request, the family would like you to honour him by wearing a touch of white. No flowers by request but donations to Puttinu Cares Foundation will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
MALLIA. On April 9, at Mater Dei Hospital, Fr JOSEPH MALLIA, OFMCap, aged 90, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his Capuchin Brothers of the Province of Malta, his brothers: Carmelo, Anthony, H.E. Emmanuel and his sister Grace, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Mass præsente cadavere will be said on Friday, April 12, at 8.30am, at Our Lady of Lourdes parish church, San Ġwann, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
Requiem Mass
Mass præsente cadavere for the repose of the soul of EILEEN ZAMMIT MAEMPEL will be celebrated on Friday, April 12, at 8.30am at the parish church of the Annunciation, Balzan, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.
