Therese AttardTherese Attard

ATTARD. THERESE, k/a Tessie, ex teacher and  Assistant Head of School at Hamrun Primary, from Ħamrun, passed away peacefully comforted with the blessed sacraments on July 22 aged 89. She leaves to mourn her irreparable loss her brother Anthony and his wife Grace, her sister Rosemary and her sister-in-law Margaret, widow of Paul, her nephews and nieces and their children, relatives and friends. The funeral cortege leaves St Vincent de Paul Residence tomorrow, Saturday, July 25, at 9.15am for St Cajetan’s parish church in Ħamrun, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 9.45am followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Special thanks go to the doctors and staff of Kristu Re 4 at St Vincent de Paul for their care and precious services. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated.

BIASINI. On July 22, MARIAN, widow of Guido, aged 90, passed away peacefully at her residence in Sliema, safely in the arms of the Lord, surrounded by her loving family. She will always be loved and remembered by her sisters Carmen, Marie, Margaret and Vivien, her brothers and sisters-in-law John and Josette, Michael and Elsie, Antoine and Doris, all her nephews and nieces, other relatives and many friends. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, July 25, for St Gregory’s parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere to celebrate her life will be said at 8.45am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Puttinu Cares will be greatly appreciated. May she rest in eternal peace.

FORTE. On July 22, CARLO, aged 81, passed away suddenly at his residence in Sliema. He will always be loved and remembered by his loving wife Marlene, née Navarro, his siblings Albert, widower of Antoinette, Fr Joseph SDB, Carmen, Victor and his wife Mary, his in-laws Gladys and her husband Walter Izzo, Marcelle and her husband Manuel Chetcuti and Valerie, widow of Joe Seychell, his nephews and nieces Andrew, John, James, Christine, John, Suzanne, Marco and their families, other relatives and friends, especially the Salesian Community of Don Bosco. The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Tuesday, July 28, for the Don Bosco Salesian Oratory, Sliema where Mass to celebrate his life will be said at 2.30pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to the Salesians of Don Bosco are greatly appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SUDA. On July 22, JOHN, of Sliema, aged 89, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Antoinette and her husband Vince, Helen and her husband Anthony, his grandchildren Kristine and her husband David, John and his wife Chantelle, Paul and his partner Chloe, Marie Claire and her husband Christian, Maria and her partner Andrew, Michelle and her husband Keith, his great-grandchildren Lucas, Lisa, Elise, and Thomas, all other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Saturday, July 25 at 8.30am, for the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in Sliema where mass praesente cadavere will be said at 9am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

AQUILINA. In loving memory of MYRIAM on the 13th anniversary of her death. Always loved and missed by Robert and Christa, Iona and John and her grandchildren.

BONGIOVANNI – ROBERT. 38 years ago you departed without any goodbyes. Time has not erased the beautiful times nor will it ever make us forget the loving way you dealt with us. Rest in eternal peace now joined by your youngest, Sandra and her husband Kevin Bonnici.

GALEA – Cecilia. Today marks the 25th anniversary of her passing to Eternal life. Forever missed by Paul, Antoinette, Emanuel, Angelic, Dorothy, Keith and Kurt. Lord, grant her eternal rest.

SCICLUNA – PAUL, a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, on the 11th anniversary of his meeting the Risen Lord. Fondly remembered and missed every day by his loving family, David and Mary Rose, John and Jacqueline, James and Dana, Sandra and Alessio, Adriana and Russell and Rachel, and his great-grandchildren. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
