OBITUARIES

CHETCUTI. On July 25, VALERIE, née Borg Cardona aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of the Holy Church and joined her much beloved husband Charles in the arms of the Lord. She will always be loved and remembered by her children, Tony and his wife Carmencita, John and his wife Anne, Christopher and his wife Moira, Simon and his wife Mariella, Maria and her husband Mark, by her grandchildren Mark, Adrian, Sarah, Matthew, Christina, Mikela, Gabriel-Charles and Karl and by her great-grandchildren Olly and Stella Marie.

The funeral cortège leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Thursday, July 30 for Tal-Ibraġġ parish church where Mass praesente cadavere to celebrate her life will be said at 10am followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.

May she rest in eternal peace.

COOPER – MICHAEL JAMES sadly passed peacefully away at home aged 65. He leaves to mourn his loss his sister Irene, his brother John and his wife Carmen, his niece Debbie and her husband Phil, his nephew Andrew, his dear aunts Jill Harding and Lea Harding his cousins and other relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

Lord, grant him eternal rest.

IN MEMORIAM

BUSUTTIL.  In memory of MERCEDES, née Zarb, a dearly beloved mother and  sister on the 23rd anniversary of her meeting with the Risen Lord. So loved and so missed! David Raphaël, Claire, Anna, Michael and their families.

FIORINI. In loving memory of MAURICE on the 19th anniversary of his demise. Deeply missed by his children Marika, Anthony and Sandra and their families. May he rest in peace.

MUSCAT INGLOTT – ADRIAN. In loving memory, on the fifth anniversary of his passing. A devoted and honourable man, forever remembered with great love and affection by his family. May perpetual light shine upon him and may he rest in peace.

In loving memory of our beloved and unforgettable JOHN MAYL today being the first anniversary of his passing. Deeply missed by his aunt Mabel and uncle Paul, his brother Roderick and his wife Shirley, his nephews Sean and Keith, his cousins Pamela and Aaron, other relatives and friends. A Mass for the repose of his soul will be said tomorrow at 6.30pm at St Gregory's parish church, Sliema. Family and friends are welcome. May the Lord grant him eternal rest
