ATTARD. At Mater Dei Hospital, STELLA nèe Agius, aged 92, of Sliema, passed away peacefully to join her beloved husband J.B Attard, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. Aunty Stella, to many relatives and friends, leaves to mourn her sad loss all her family and friends, including her beloved sisters Rita Zammit, wife of Joseph Zammit, Ġuża Barbara, Connie Cachia and her many nephews and nieces, their spouses and children. The funeral will take place to-morrow, Friday, June 21, leaving Mater Dei Hospital at 1.30pm for St Gregory the Great parish church, Sliema, where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 2pm followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest. Her niece Marthese and family would like to thank the several nurses and carers who have assisted us these last months. May God bless you and your kind work.
FORMOSA. On June 19, at Mater Dei Hospital, JOSEPH MARY, Ġużeppi, aged 93, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his children Mary and Manuel, Joyce and Manuel, Antoinette and Manuel, Paul and Sophie, Anna and Christopher, Manuel and Maria, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today, at 1pm, for Our Lady of Sorrows chapel, Pietà. Funeral will them resume at Pietà parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2pm. GATT. On June 18, at Mater Dei Hospital, MARY, née Mifsud Bonnici, widow of Joseph Gatt LP, aged 91, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her children Peter and his wife Lucienne, Ivan and his wife Karen, Gabriella and her husband Roland Reuter, her grandchildren Mark, Chris, Max, Timi and Gigi, her great-grandchildren Laila and Oliver, her sisters-in-law Emma Mifsud Bonnici and Maggie La Ferla, nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to her loving and devoted carer Chat. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital on Saturday, June 22, for Balluta parish church where Mass præsente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Hospice Malta, Balzan, will be greatly appreciated. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
