A pertinent question of importance, especially for elderly people, to Transport Malta is whether the company still caters for them when it comes to public buses?

On June 12, at about 9am, I boarded a bus on Route 48 from Mosta to Valletta. There was only a sticker  just above the three seats available for pushchairs and/or wheelchairs. There were no other stickers indicating priority to elderly passengers. The bus was full to capacity and we were packed like sardines.

Returning home at about 2.30, I took a bus on Route 44. Again, the only sticker was just above the four seats reserved for pushchairs and/or wheelchairs. No other stickers were visible except those referring to an emergency.

Could Transport Malta please inform us, senior citizens, whether seats reserved for elderly people are still available on public transport?
