Obituaries
FORMOSA. On June 17, DORIS, aged 81, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She will always be remembered by her children Marica and her husband Tony, Noel and his wife Graziella, Josianne and her husband Josef, grandchildren Christabel, Darrell, Nathaniel, Chanelle and Jodie, her brothers and sisters and her husband’s brothers and sisters, all their families and friends. The funeral cortège will leave Mater Dei Hospital tomorrow, Tuesday, June 22 at 7.45am for the Sanctuary Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, Mosta, where Mass praesente cadavere will be celebrated at 8.30am, followed by interment at Mosta cemetery. The family wishes that instead of flowers, donations are sent to Id-Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi. Lord grant her eternal rest.
RIZZO. On June 20, NOEL, aged 96, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He will be forever loved and cherished by his children Bernadette and her husband Alan, Julia and her husband John, Stephen and his wife Beatrix, Melanie and her partner Noel, his grandchildren David, Melanie, Ian, Nicola, Emma, Sophie, Hanna, Nicole, Gabi and Rebecca, his great-grandchildren Audrianna and Sawyer, other relatives and friends. The funeral cortège leaves St James Hospital, Sliema, on Friday, June 26, for St Julian’s parish church where Mass to celebrate his life will be held at 1.30pm, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. The family would like to express their gratitude for all the love and care shown by the carers at Simblija Care Home and Seniors Helping Seniors. Lord, grant him eternal rest.
