The man who was jailed for 35 years for the attempted murder of an assistant police commissioner and his family in 2005 will be sentenced by an Appeals Court in two weeks.

Emmanuel Camilleri, known as Leli l-bully had also been fined €116,500 in 2005 for his attempt on the life of AC Michael Cassar, then a Drug Squad inspector, and his family.

Chief Justice Vincent De Gaetano, Mr Justice David Scicluna and Mr Justice Joseph Filletti postponed the judgement to February 25.
