The English-Speaking Union of Malta, in association with RIPA International (Royal Institute of Public Administration), recently held a one-day workshop on Advanced Report Writing Skills for the Central Bank of Malta staff.
The workshop aimed to review and improve the structure of written reports, and to focus on developing skills of clarity to help promote high-quality report writing: being concise and persuasive, prioritising material and writing for specific audiences.
Richard Whale, Director of Education at the English-Speaking Union of Malta, said: “A lot of ground was covered during the workshop and our collaboration with RIPA International ensured that participants received the most professional, expert training required, which I am sure will prove to be beneficial. “Central Bank employees have to produce many reports on various economic and financial topics, and applying some of the ideas from this workshop should help them in their work.”
