Frenchman Fawzi ElMajri, 31, today pleaded not guilty to having stolen various household items in a series of burglaries from residences in Sliema between February and April.

The accused is alleged to have broken into six houses while the tenants were asleep.

He was arrested at the airport last Wednesaday.
