Stephen Ciangura, 32, of Rabat, an AFM soldier, today pleaded not guilty to have disobeyed a policeman and an ADT enforcement officer, assaulting and slightly injuring the latter and threatening both of them. The case allegedly happened in Gozo on Thursday afternoon.

He was also accused of having commited a crime he was duty bound to prevent.

He was granted bail against a personal guarantee of €5,000.
