Gozitan students show their artistic talents

Students practised art and pottery-making in their school breaks to nurture their skills and explore new creative techniques

An art exhibition celebrating the creativity and artistic development of students at Agius De Soldanis Middle School in Gozo has opened its doors to the public. Journeys – A Celebration of Creativity presents a wide range of artworks created by students during art lessons, as well as selected creations developed through the school’s art and pottery clubs.

The clubs, coordinated by Art Department head Lino Xerri and art teacher Victor Agius, offered students the opportunity to nurture their artistic skills and explore new creative techniques during school breaks. Hosted in the school hall, the exhibition has been enhanced with professional stage lighting, creating an engaging setting that showcases the students’ dedication, imagination and artistic achievements.
