Marian gathering in Sliema on Sunday

The event, organised by the Salesians, will be dedicated to Mary under the title of ‘Help of Christians’

The Salesian Family in Malta is organising a Marian gathering in honour of Mary Help of Christians at St Patrick’s church, Sliema, on Sunday, May 17, at 6.30pm.

The event, being held in collaboration with various international communities in Malta, will be dedicated to Mary under the title of ‘Help of Christians’ − a title deeply cherished in the Salesian and Catholic tradition. Those attending will have the opportunity to join in moments of prayer and reflection as a sign of hope, guidance and solidarity among people and cultures, especially those suffering because of war and hatred.

At the end of the prayer gathering, the sacramental blessing will be given, followed by mass in English at 7.30pm. The evening will continue with light refreshments in the grounds of St Patrick’s School.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
