The men's national team will be playing three friendly matches away between tomorrow and Tuesday in preparation for the first qualifying round of the European Champion-ship 2005 Division B.

In Sicily, coaches Bruno Dipiet-rantonio and Valentine Drury will lead the team against Trapani, Capodorlando and Licata.

In the European Championship, later on this month, the national team faces Ireland, Slovakia and Switzerland, all matches to be played at the University Sports Hall.

Programme: vs Ireland (Sept. 11, 5 p.m.); vs Slovakia (Sept. 13, 7 p.m.); vs Switzerland (Sept. 18, 5 p.m.).

Meanwhile, women's national team coaches Santino Coppa and Carlo Farrugia will be conducting a training camp next week ahead of the Division B qualifying round European Championship matches, also this month.

The team, fresh from their fine showing in the Promotion Cup this summer, continued with their intense training programme.

They play two away matches, in Bosnia and Norway. In between, they host Belarus at Tal-Qroqq.

Programme: vs Bosnia (Aleksandrovac, Sept. 18); vs Belarus (Tal-Qroqq, Sept. 22); vs Norway (Oslo, Sept. 25).
