A 21-year-old motorcyclist was grievously injured in a crash on Tower Road in Sliema on Friday at 12.45pm.

The police said in a statement the man, an Indian national from Qormi, was driving a Kymco.

The other vehicle involved in the crash - a Volvo XC60 - was being driven by a 57-year-old woman from Sliema. 

Police investigations are ongoing.
