Five people were injured on Friday afternoon when the ambulance they were in crashed into a parked truck in Qormi.
The police told Times of Malta the crash was reported on Triq il-Kanun at around 2.45pm.
Two Emergency Ambulance Responders - one of whom was driving the vehicle - and a 49-year-old woman from Dingli were grievously injured.
A 35-year-old nurse from Mosta and a 23-year-old woman from Dingli suffered slight injuries.

The police said that according to initial investigations, the driver - a 55-year-old man from Mqabba - lost control of the ambulance and crashed into a parked truck. With the impact, the truck crashed into another parked truck, which, in turn, crashed into a car.
The man, together with the other Emergency Ambulance Responder - a 54-year-old man from Safi - were pulled out of the ambulance by Civil Protection Department officers.
