The price on GlaxoSmithKline’s (GSK) Wellbutrin anti-depressant has been significantly reduced, the company said.

It said pharmacies are being refunded by GSK to ensure patients benefit from this price reduction with immediate effect.

Wellbutrin antidepressant is available in 150mg x 30 tablets and is now sold at €19.19 – a reduction of €15.81.

It is also available in 300mg x 30 tablets, which is now sold at €38.38 – a reduction of €23.75.

Wellbutrin antidepressant is only dispensed against a doctor’s prescription.
