Special documents for those who lost, damaged voting cards
Electoral Commission publishes instructions on how to apply for fresh document
While voting documents have started being distributed today (Monday), those who have already lost or damaged them can apply for a special document, the Electoral Commission said on Monday.
The commission said that those who lost, substantially damaged or destroyed their document and those whose names appear on the electoral register but did not receive the document because, among others, the commission does not have their photo, can immediately apply for a special document.
The voters should turn up in person at the Office of the Electoral Commission at the Naxxar Counting Complex and present their Identity Card anyday between 8am and 1pm, and 3pm and 8pm. On May 23 they can do so until 10pm.
From May 24 until 27, they can call between 8am and 1pm, and 3pm and 9pm.
Voters who are registered in the 13th district can call at the Electoral Office, Triq Ta’ Wara s-Sur, Victoria, during the same office hours.
