The following are the top stories on Malta's front pages on Sunday.

The Sunday Times of Malta reports that sales of cooling systems have soared amid the recent heat wave and power cuts. It also reports a family's account of how its life changed following the tragic death of a mother in a car crash in Valletta. 

MaltaToday features an interview with PN leader Alex Borg, who said a walkout from parliament during the vote on the Equality Bill last week was necessary because the Opposition and several civil society NGOs had insisted on the need for more consultation.  The newspaper also quotes former ERA CEO Ruben Abela arguing that the electricity outages were a consequence of a planning failure.

The Malta Independent on Sunday carries comments by the new CEO of the Labour Party on the party's finances. He said the PL has more assets than liabilities. The newspaper also interviews PN MP Rebekah Borg, who said she took a risk by targeting non-voters and floating voters. She was elected from two districts. 

It-Torċa says power consumption has increased by 50% in 20 years. 

KullĦadd focuses on reforms in eligibility for IVF and reforms of equality legislation, saying PL electoral promises are being fulfilled.
