TVM is by far the most popular television station with respondents scoring 37.69 per cent of all viewers in the Broadcasting Authority’s latest study on audience ratings for July 2014.

One ranked second with 14.17 per cent and Net third with 7.29 per cent. Just over 36 per cent of respondents reported that they followed a foreign channel during July.

On average viewers spent a total of 1.38 hours watching television in July which spells out a national average of 1.14 hours per day. As a general rule the three main local stations tend to register their peak audiences during the evening news bulletins, normally aired between 7:30pm and 8:30pm.
