Two workers injured in four-storey fall
The two fell down a shaft in an apartment block
Two workers were hospitalised after falling four storeys in an apartment block on Monday.
The accident happened at about 2.30 pm in Triq l-Aħmar, Marsascala.
The two were working in a service shaft when a wooden plank they were standing on collapsed, sources said.
They were rescued by personnel from the Civil Protection Department.
The Occupational Health and Safety Authority is investigating.
No further details were immediately available.
