Ten people were injured after a gas explosion at a Mexico City restaurant sent glass and debris flying onto morning rush hour traffic this morning.

Authorities said the explosion, caught by this security camera, was caused by a gas leak.

Firefighters later determined the building had suffered no structural damage.

About half the victims were burnt while others were injured by flying glass and debris.

Two of the victims are reported to be in 'delicate' condition.
