Naomi Cachia, former president of PL's youth wing Forum Żgħażagħ Laburisti, has been appointed party whip.

Labour said in a statement the parliamentary group unanimously agreed  the lawyer and PL MP should take on the role.

She succeedes Andy Ellul, who retains his position as parliamentary secretary for social dialogue following Robert Abela's cabinet reshuffle.
