Bay Street's Longest Kiss Competition resulted in a tie between two couples after 10 hours. The contestants' lips touched without rest until the competition came to an end.

Prizes awarded to the winning couples - three-time winners Louis Agius and Samantha Lautier Agius, and Kenneth Galea and Pricilla Vassallo - included a weekend break at Bay Street Hotel and another at the Grand Hotel in Gozo, two tickets per couple, courtesy of Virtu Ferries, a mobile phone from Go Mobile, Fossil watches from Super Gold at Bay Street, perfumes from Franks Perfumery, vouchers from Ecco, Perugina hampers, champagne from Marks and Spencers, Pedigree toys and a meal for two.

Morena, together with Chris and Moira, Clifford Galea, Aqua Blue Dancers, Amanda and Josef, Keith Galea and Charlie Briffa's carnival company were present.
