A French Navy Dassault Super Étendard bomber made an emergency landing in Malta yesterday afternoon after having to abort operations over Libya due to strong winds. The plane, based on the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, was the seventh French aircraft to be forced to divert to Malta since the implementation of the no-fly zone over Libya.
