Boys aged 16 and 13 injured after one of them drove car into abandoned building
Police are unclear which of the teenagers were driving the car
An underage driver crashed into an abandoned building in Attard during the early hours of Thursday, injuring the young driver and passenger.
Two boys, aged 16 and 13, were in the car when the collision happened at around 3.30am in Triq Il-Kbira.
The 16-year-old suffered slight injuries, while the 13-year-old was grievously injured.
A police spokesperson could not confirm which of the two was driving the Kia Picanto.
A photograph released by police shows the vehicle appears to have hit the building head-on near the Attard bypass, dislodging boulders onto the road.
Police are investigating.
