Ivan Falzon has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer for the Labour Party, with immediate effect.
Falzon was the Gozo Regional Development Authority CEO and previously served as CEO of Mater Dei Hospital, the Water Services Corporation and Infrastructure Malta.
He will be replacing Leonid McKay, who was appointed Transport Malta CEO last month.
In a press statement, the Labour Party said Falzon has vast experience in senior executive roles, and his leadership across different sectors has always been characterised by a serious and professional approach, excellent managerial skills and prioritising innovation and efficiency.
The party said the appointment of Falzon as CEO reflects its commitment to continuing the renewal of its internal structures, to strengthen the party and enable it to continue providing for the Maltese and Gozitans.
