‘MICAS will change the way Malta’s perceived’ – artistic director Edith Devaney

As I suspected from the choice of location. This is more about a PR white washing of Malta’s tarnished image than the much needed cultural birth of independent Malta. – J. J. Micallef

I’ve visited several big CAMs in main cities around the world and I find no problem in comparing MICAS to these. The space and architecture is overwhelming. Let’s hope the great artistic programme and curation will continue on its initial impetus. Well done MICAS! – Patrick Fenech

A waste of our taxes. We need first the new outpatient block at Mater Dei and a new mental hospital. – Joe Z. Borg

The place, the design and architecture of Micas – the way the old is diluted with the new – is in itself a work of world class art. It will give visitors a buzz. – Joe Attard

Not a Juve fan, however that’s one hell of a chocolate sculpture. Well done Mr Cassar! – Charles Vassallo

Well done to Tiziano Cassar! You did us proud! Hope this will take you to international success. The Maltese – how talented we can be. – Michelle Cutajar

Great work! Congratulations! You make me proud being a Juventus fan. – Raymond Cauchi
