Special bus services announced for BBC orchestra concert

Special bus routes have been announced to help those attending Saturday's BBC Concert Orchestra concert at the Granaries in Floriana get home smoothly. 

The 'Abba versus Bee Gees' concert will be presented by UK presenter Rylan Clark, and feature the 70-piece orchestra and a selection of singers including Maltese performer Kevin Paul Calleja.

As in previous editions, the concert taking place at the Granaries in Floriana will be recorded and later broadcast on BBC Radio 2.

It is the seventh time the BBC Concert Orchestra has performed in Malta and Malta Public Transport said they will run a special service for those wanting to use the bus at the end of the concert. 

Tal-Linja card holders can make use of the service for free. Those without the card will have to pay €3. 

Most of the routes are scheduled between 11.30 and 11.45 pm, although the routes going to St Paul’s Bay end at around a quarter past midnight.
