Our Lady Immaculate School, Ħamrun, was one of the many schools in Malta and Gozo that joined in the worldwide 'Stop Poverty' activities. Besides the one-minute joint 'stand-up', the students also took the initiative of helping to stop poverty in a tangible, constructive way - they collected money and donated it to the Franciscan Missionary Nuns of Our Lady Immaculate in Egypt to 'adopt' two children in their care.
