The following are the top stories in the Maltese newspapers today.

Times of Malta says a vet is facing a perjury charge over the long-running Gozo sheep case. 

The newspaper also reports that rural policy changes have allowed the planning authority to approve a permit outside development zone within a Natura 2000 site and the buffer area protecting the Dingli coastal cliffs.
