The Royal Netherlands Navy submarine HNLMS Zeeleeuw (S 803) is in Grand Harbour on a short visit.

The Walrus Class conventionally-powered vessel is berthed at Valletta Waterfront, dwarfed by cruise liners.

The Dutch Navy has four submarines of this class, of which one is deployed on anti-piracy operations off Somalia to track radio signals and follow pirates' boats.
