A 25-year-old woman got the fright of her life this afternoon when she discovered that two burglars had entered the house.
The police said the incident took place at about 2.15 p.m. in Iklin.
The woman heard a noise upstairs and when she went to investigate, she discovered two men, one of whom was armed.
The woman immediately ran out through the garage adjoining the house.
The men also managed to escape. They are believed to have stolen jewellery.
No one was injured.
