Mepa said today that one of its directors, engineer Ray Piscopo, has resigned after allegations related to abuse of his car use allowance were proved.

It said that last week it started to investigate an allegation that one of its directors was receiving a car allowance for using his car, while simultaneously making use of one of the Authority’s cars.

The director was asked to resign once the allegation was found to be true. He submitted his resignation and this was accepted.
